Next week our team of global and maritime connectivity experts will be at CommunicAsia in Singapore, 29-31 May. You can read more about the show and what we’ll be discussing with service providers, our partners, and customers old, new and prospective in last week’s blog. Quick summary – we’ll be focusing oon how our global SIMs/eSIMs can improve the connectivity of an organisation’s people and their devices - including maritime connectivity and IoT – as they travel around the world.
And straight after CommunicAsia we’ll be at ConneXion in Bern, Switzerland from 4–6 June which is organised by ComFone, a Swiss company that specialises in IPX, Clearing Services, Data Management, and more for a range of solution providers. It’s a key meeting place for many in the mobile ecosystem.
Roaming is always a hot topic at ConneXion, hardly surprising given that it is still a cash cow for traditional operators. But gone are the days when organisations just have to suck up the higher price of connectivity when their people, and devices, are abroad. Grab & Go eSIMs are easy to download and activate and can be used alongside the SIM cards already installed in a device switching to Grab & Go when people travel abroad. They can be bought in batches by your company, and allocated to users when needed.
