As 2022 draws to a close, our team of global and IoT connectivity experts have been assessing Telecom26’s progress during the year.  Telecom26 enables global connectivity and data connectivity, anywhere - so that your device can connect to the best available network, regardless of location.

Telecom26 recently signed a new partnership agreement with Teltonika Networks – and the first customer to benefit from our improved global connectivity service will be our long-term digital eHealth customer, SystemOne.

The "Internet of Things (IoT) in Healthcare report" is recommended by our IoT connectivity experts as an excellent read alongside our previous blog IoT healthcare and the need for IoT connectivity which discusses the growth in the market with predictions that “the global internet of medical things (IoMT) market is expected to swell to a $158 billion valuation in 2022, up from $41 billion in 2017”.

Last week some of our IoT global connectivity experts attended an open day at the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) IoT Customer Experience Lab in Geneva.  As we expand our IoT customer base, of course it is useful to know what leading vendors are up to – and learn from their experiences so we can continue to improve both our IoT service and our multi-network global IoT eSIMs.

Last year we launched eSIMs for Telecom26’s global roaming service. This was followed swiftly by our first big customer win with GlobalMatix choosing Telecom26’s eSIMs to provide mobile connectivity for its in-car fleet management systems – used by global car rental firms including Enterprise, Alamo and National.

As the year draws to a close, analysts, vendors and MNOs will be scrutinising how the rollout of 5G is progressing.
