2024 was a year of growth and innovation for Telecom26’s global mobile data connectivity services with more customers than ever before, innovative and impactful product launches, and new and expanded global partnerships.
At Telecom26, we're dedicated to empowering organisations with the best possible global mobile data connectivity experience. We operate as a full global MVNO for terrestrial coverage, a maritime MNO - and a provider of connectivity for IoT devices.
Ensuring fast, reliable and cost-effective global mobile data connectivity and roaming services is in our lifeblood; we are a genuine, and proven, alternative to the services of the global operators that are household names.
- As we look ahead to 2025, we will continue to expand our global mobile data connectivity services for business travellers and our enterprise-grade IoT solutions. We will be completing the concept, and launching, scalable private 5G networks, and expanding our engineering and customer support teams. Secure global mobile data connectivity, scalability, and cost efficiencies are what our team will continue to focus on.
Global mobile data connectivity for business travellers
2024 saw Telecom26 launch two new global mobile data connectivity services for business travellers:
Our ‘Grab & Go’ service was developed following requests from our existing, and potential, business customers who can now buy time-limited, pre-paid eSIMs which enable high-speed, cost effective global mobile data connectivity for people when they are travelling abroad – for a specified period of time, so covering them for the duration of their trip.
Grab & Go complements our Enterprise Data Extra global mobile data connectivity service which you can read more about in this blog: Telecom26 makes life easier for business travellers who need fast and cost-effective connectivity with Enterprise Data Extra
Our message to business travellers is clear: there is no need to pay the high roaming charges of your domestic operator when you are abroad or to buy a local prepaid SIM or rely on insecure wifi networks. Contact Telecom26 for a travel eSIM instead.
Maritime Connectivity
Maritime connectivity is one of Telecom26’s core services ensuring that vessels, offshore platforms, and the global operations of maritime organisations receive the always-on connectivity they need.
The title of this blog says it all. Satellite isn’t the only option to provide maritime connectivity to ships thanks to Telecom26’s maritime mobile connectivity service.
We continued to expand our maritime connectivity service with new customer Virtual Maritime Services (VMS) expansive in its enthusiasm for our service.
Nikolaos Nikolinakos, MD of VMS, said: “..the Telecom26 service works perfectly. They can provide coverage in practically all regions. The connectivity service is reliable and provides data pooling. A vessel or maritime company can activate the service for ex 50GB/100GB and can share across their entire fleet” and
“The excellent customer support, flexibility to set-up packages to suit different needs and requests - and the simplicity of the Telecom26 B2B management portal - all this was difficult to find in one single provider”.
Large organisations moving to Telecom26
Last month we announced that a world-famous, highly-respected and influential international organisation whose people have an unusually intensive travel schedule have found their ideal solution – Telecom26’s global mobile data connectivity service.
You can read more about the challenges this organisation faced, their search for a new provider and the benefits of moving to Telecom26’s global mobile data connectivity service in this new case study.
Prestigious, high-profile international organisations like these are hard clients to win – and keep. But the team at Telecom26 is certainly doing well. Read our earlier blog about how Financial Services Companies are also moving to Telecom26 for highly-secure global mobile data connectivity.
- Meanwhile Owen Jones, Infrastructure Programme Manager at Ocorian Financial Services, said “Moving to Telecom26’s service has been a big win for everyone at Ocorian. The eSIMs are very easy to download and then automatically activate when users arrive in a different country. Knowing that they will have connectivity is a great relief for our business travellers.
- All of the Telecom26 team have been very helpful, supportive and responsive. Many thanks to Telecom26 for the outstanding service”.
Connectivity for digital healthcare in remote rural areas
Our global mobile data connectivity service is being used for e-health initiatives in both emerging and mature markets where unreliable bandwidth and patchy connectivity can significantly affect the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as TB, HIV and Ebola. Starlink has significant gaps in its coverage in Africa including in Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, Djibouti – and more.

Filling the gaps in your organisation’s global mobile data connectivity coverage
Put simply, Telecom26’s global mobile data connectivity service is available in more than 200 countries and territories. We reach vast areas that other operators can’t.
