At Telecom26’s headquarters in Zug, we proudly showcase our fully operational 5G private network. This deployment highlights the power of private 5G SA for secure, high-performance connectivity, with low-latency, evolved Mobile Broadband, IoT support, and seamless eSIM and plastic SIM integration.
Key Highlights of Our 5G Private Network
- 5G cells (gNodeBs – Next Generation Node B) have been installed and are actively broadcasting on the private network code (PLMN) using Telecom26’s licensed 5G spectrum.
- 5G Standalone (SA) support enabled for both SIM cards and eSIMs, ensuring seamless connectivity.
- Existing Telecom26 staff subscriptions have been upgraded to leverage private 5G connectivity.
- Successful device testing on iPhones, Samsung, Google Pixel phones, as well as industrial 5G routers.
- Successful secure, closed calls (Voice over New Radio/NR) and SMS (SMS over IP & NAS) within the private network.
